Erika & Chris both moved into what some would say is the 'worst' dorm at the University of Illinois… Taft. She lived on the ground floor, and he lived on the 4th. They may have seen each other in passing and had many mutual friends, but never officially met or knew what was to come!

Erika & Chris finally met at the Pike House and then became close friends who attended lots of date events & traveled the world together while studying abroad.

Chris asked Erika to be his girlfriend at the one & only… RED LION!

After nearly 6 years of dating, Chris proposed to Erika on the Chicago River, she said "YES!" and they celebrated with family & friends all weekend!
